GCC OS X PPD Installer (10/08/2002) - Will install PPD files for
all common GCC PostScript printers into Mac OS X (including Jaguar). The installer is designed
to work with Mac OS X. To install PPDs and fonts on earlier systems, please
use the CD-ROM installer that came with your printer.
Note: Printing with OS X native applications will require the installation
of a printer firmware release version 3.36 for Elite XL 20 printers available from
GCC Technical Support. Contact GCC Technical Support
at 781-276-8620 M-F 8:30-7:00 EST to determine how to obtain this upgrade.

filters.tar.Z (10 KB - 9/20/1995) - Contains source code for "filter" programs
that can be used with the Berkeley Unix print spooler, lpd, to send print jobs to the
Elite XL across a TCP/IP network. You don't need the filters if you don't intend to
print from a Unix machine, or if you will print from Unix by forwarding jobs to the
printer's internal lpd (this requires connecting a SCSI disk to the Elite XL.)
